Hester Street Fair’s FoodBabyNY Food Fest 2
The Chau family, otherwise known as @foodbabyny, will be curating the Hester Street Fair for the second time on Sunday, May 5th as the adorable foodie toddlers and their parents showcase their favorite vendors to their massive social media following. Several popular vendors – including many with huge viral followings of their own – will be in attendance serving a variety of tasty new items and old favorites, all approved and hand-picked by @foodbabyny. In addition to the vendors, the Chau family will also be in attendance at the festival and ready to meet their fans.
Like last year, Mike will definitely be collaborating with some of the vendors to create special flavors and items that you can only taste at the festival. In addition, there are two exciting previews for upcoming restaurants this year:
Caffè Panna @caffepannanyc
This is an exclusive (and only) preview of Caffè Panna and Tripla Panna before it opens later this summer. Founder Hallie Meyer will be on hand serving her top quality Tripla Panna ice cream in scoop form as well as in affogatos with Joe Coffee.Dr. Clark @drclarkhouse
After having a preview earlier in the season at the Hester Street Fair, this is another chance to try authentic Hokkaido style lamb BBQ before the restaurant opens later this spring.
Hester Street Fair is known as the launch pad for many of NYC’s favorite food purveyors including Fat Radish, Macaron Parlour, Melt Bakery, Gordo’s Cantina, Osaka Grub, Petee’s Pie, La Newyorkina, Arancini Bros and Cheeky Sandwiches. The team behind the fair has also curated the eclectic pop-up food vendors at Bryant Park for the past 7 years, hosted the Vice Munchies first Food Festival in 2017 and has organized New York Magazine’s Grub Street Food Festival for 7 years.
