This marks the 9th year of the YeShi. The YeShi started in 2011 with a handful of local businesses near the 100 block of 10th Street. Now, this one-night event serves an average of 20,000 people each year, and cover six city blocks.
Brainchild of restauranteurs and entrepreneurs Kenny Poon and David Taing, Chinatown Square Food Hall replaced the previous general goods store Shanghai Bazaar, and the end results of their renovations and launch are phenomenal.
